The feedback gathered during the review process will guide the development of the Sustainable Sites Initiative Guidelines and Performance Benchmarks 2009 which is expected to be released in summer 2009. Following that, the Sustainable Sites Initiative will develop a weighting system for the credits and then in 2010 begin to establish pilot projects across the United States. Feedback from the pilot projects will be used to create a Reference Guide which will provide suggestions on how projects addressed achieving specific credits.
